Pakistan: Bandits kill Shia man over resistance

KARACHI, Pakistan (Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A Shia man was gunned down on Quaidabad Road for resisting a robbery attempt on Monday night, said the police. He was 8th martyr in the month of October 2013 in Karachi.Muneer Hussain, 45, was travelling in Ilyas Coach when armed men boarded the bus near Hospital Chowrangi and started looting the passengers.When Hussain tried to overpower the bandits, one of them shot him dead, following which the culprits jumped off the vehicle.The victim’s body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. He had suffered a bullet to the head. He was a labourer who resided in Landhi’s Majeed Colony./129
